i have a tan!

It only took me all summer, but i can now claim to be a proud owner of a tan (gotten by healthy means). Indeedlydoo, my watch farmer's tan is the most exciting part of my body at the moment, haha!
So the pool i work at is outdoors and we have a large water slide. On MWF mornings, there is a giant water aerobics class for old people (50 or more show up). I find it quite entertaining to watch. Youd be amazed at some of these elders, they totally get into it, the conversations they have, comparing how all of them look. I cannot help but wonder about what its like to be old. Anyway, one of them came up to me today and asked if she could go down the slide. I acquiesced, and boy was it fun to watch a 75-yr-old come tumbling out of the waterslide with a giant smile on her face.
Ive been trying to figure out what i want to write my history i.s. on lately. It's been the dearth of my existence for a while now. Pain in the ass. Hopefully the ideas i have will be well-recieved by my oft-PMSy man advisor.
So besides working, i find i have not much to do. So i go out running. Lately, im finding myself running just to pass along the time and end up going out three or more times a day for at least an hour each time. Hahaha! Now ive got running on the brain. Im sure ive been annoying all my friends/companions by asking them to come workout with me ceaselessly. I cannot help it. Working out makes me feel so good and i want to share that good feeling with others as well as not falter and halt my excellent progress.
Here's to hoping the weather holds out tomorrow as i go out biking with a friend and her husband to the Wooster/OARDC Arboretum. This summer ive actually gotten to know quite a few ppl that live here in Wooster and i have to say that i do like many of them. I enjoy having a good balance of college and "townspeople" friends and hope to maintain that balance once classes start. It'll add to my repertoire of perceptions of Wooster in a positive way.
